I was very happy with the service of parcelhero and will definitely recommend to others. I actual had a better experience (and price) using parcelhero than with the courier directly.
Very pleased, my parcel was picked up at the exact time they said it would, I could easily follow its every move until it was delivered and signed for in Egypt. Excellent service. Will definitely use again.
My parcel was collected in less than 30 mins of ordering collection and arrived at the date specified.

You will need to provide a customs invoice with your delivery to Egypt – this is something that ParcelHero will automatically generate by asking for various pieces of information as you make your booking. All you have to do is print off the relevant paperwork and attach it to the outside of the package before it is picked up. There will be duties and taxes levied on your package during the clearance process. ParcelHero cannot include these in the shipping costs as they are calculated and charged by the local customs authorities when the items enter the country.
As with any country, Egypt has its own rules on what items can be sent into the country. It is important that you understand these before arranging your delivery – if you try to send a prohibited item then the local customs authorities may delay your parcel or destroy it. For example, among many other items you cannot send honey, electronic cigarettes, cameras or contact lenses into the country. To find out more, visit Egypt’s customs website. ParcelHero also has our own rules about Prohibited and Restricted items.
There are many fantastic antiques to be found in Egypt, but unfortunately ParcelHero cannot help send them home. Many antiques are considered irreplaceable, and as such are not carried by our partner couriers.
ParcelHero works with the best freight carriers to make it simple to carry your cargo to Cairo, all while enjoying great savings. We can carry packages up to 270cm long and 1,000kg in weight, so there is nothing to fear.
ParcelHero makes it cheap to send food to Cairo, Alexandria or any Egyptian destination. All you need to do is keep in mind that you can’t ship homemade or perishable food; all your food shipments should be store bought and in the original packaging.
