We used parcel hero to pick up/deliver items and the items have arrived damaged, broken and a lot of the packing ripped.
Parcel hero is good but the website is a bit difficult to navigate round but apart from that I’m happy. I used tnt I was very pleased with them until unloading I had to help the driver to pick up my goods because of how the loader had loaded it but we got it done in the end
I liked that a wide selection of available services was laid out, together with the base price for each
Having made my choice, filling in information was easy and the whole process took only a few minutes.
I'll certainly use ParcelHero in future and wish I'd found them earlier.
Filled out the form on line and printed out the delivery address. Dropped the parcel off at the local shop on Monday and was delivered on Wednesday and a lot cheaper compared to royal mail/parcel force.
From start to finish the service was excellent-I have just one issue I sent a parcel to America and was not aware of the FDA regulations so the parcel was returned to my office, perhaps a prompt or to highlight that you need this before the parcel can be sent would be a better service - I am still waiting for some kind of refund to my account as I had to rebook the parcel, so at the moment it has cost me double to send
First, my parcel wasn’t collected on the day that it was supposed to be collected and they said they tried to but didn’t even leave a notice on the door. Second, some of the things got broken on the way and the box reached the destination broken.
I made a booking with them which seemed reasonable compared with others on offer. The following day I needed to organise another courier and realised that ParcelHero's charges were more ££ in both cases - so I booked via someone else. I contacted ParcelHero and eventually they agreed to refund an amount on the booking.
It was very easy to book the service, parcel was collected the day agreed and delivered to Spain earlier than originally announced.
Absolute scammers. Avoid this company by all means!! I wanted to send a ceramic hob back as it was the wrong size. I went online and proceeded to fill in the required information including details of item and value at £500. I was then prompted to take out additional insurance cover which naturally made sense. The hob was secure in the original manufacturers packaging and clearly marked with fragile on the box. We even made a point of telling the courier it was fragile and to handle with care. A few days later I received an email from the retailer including photos to show that the hob had been smash in transit. I sent an email to parcelhero and was asked to send through photos. I received a response from parcelhero stating this item was not covered within their additional cover. I did as a goodwill gesture receive a £15 credit towards my next courier service.!!! When I complained back that they had not taken due care and attention, I received another email stating the parcel was not sufficiently packaged even though it was in the original manufacturers packaging and had never been taken out. Needless to say I will be taking this further. Absolutely disgusting excuse of a company
