ParcelHero's price comparison website is proud to offer the services of the world's biggest couriers, at prices up to 60% cheaper than going direct. In fact we're even cheaper than most parcel postage rates. Our parcel quotes includes all applicable surcharges, however it's important to note that our courier prices are based on the size and weight of your parcel, whichever is the greater. To see how much it is to send a parcel, and how much you could save on your courier costs, simply complete our quick quote parcel price comparison tool and compare prices from a wide range of courier services.
If you're sending a large parcel, it's size may affect the cost of sending the parcel and additional surcharges may also by applied to your parcel quote. We rely on the weight and dimensions you give us to quote our best parcel delivery prices, so it's really important that you ensure the weight and size information you enter is correct.
ParcelHero offers £50 free parcel protection as standard*. You can purchase additional protection up to a maximum of £20,000 per shipment. Use the tool below to calculate the cost of additional protection for your shipment.

UPS can collect same day from most locations. A surcharge of £3.36 per collection booking will apply.
By upgrading to our money back guarantee option, if your shipment is delivered outside it's quoted transit time due to a service failure, then you will be entitled to a full refund. A surcharge of 10% of the delivery costs will apply.
By selecting this optional upgrade you can ensure that a shipment is not released without signature. £4.00 per shipment will be added to the parcel delivery cost.
Normally ParcelHero requires a signature for each delivery, however some countries allow the courier to ‘driver release' the package (this means they are allowed to deliver to a pre-determined location at the receiver's location such as a porch or with a neighbour) without obtaining a signature from the receiver. By selecting the ‘signature required' option, you can prevent the courier from releasing the parcel without signature.

ParcelHero can deliver to homes as well as businesses. (The definition of home includes a business operating from a residential address).
£2.47 surcharge per shipment in addition to the shipping costs.
Couriers have to travel much further, and go off their normal route, per residential delivery and it therefore costs couriers more to deliver to homes than to businesses. This is because the receiver is more likely not to be home to receive the parcel, compared to a business, and because the courier will often have to make several delivery attempts in order to deliver to a home. Couriers therefore apply an additional surcharge for residential deliveries to cover these costs.
Whilst our parcel comparison website subsidises some of the cost of residential delivery, unfortunately we have to pass some of the charges on.
We apply the residential delivery charge during the booking process once you have confirmed if you are sending to a business or home delivery address. We are unable to apply the charge when you get a quote as we don't know if you're sending to a home address at that point.

ParcelHero® can deliver to remote areas within the UK and internationally, depending on the ease of accessibility, these locations are classified as either extended or remote areas.
The following surcharges will be applied in addition the shipping costs:
An area is classed as a remote or extended area according to how far away it is from the couriers nearest delivery depot. Couriers apply this surcharge because it costs more to deliver to remote areas, including rural areas or off-shore islands. If the area is semi-remote it's considered an extended area, and if it's very remote it's considered a remote area.
As with all our surcharges they are included in the courier price we quote you during the booking process prior to checkout, and our parcel comparison website will always compare prices for the best couriers, and offer you the cheapest option.
If you provide an incorrect address and we have to amend the address in order to deliver your parcel, £9.15 per shipment will be applied to our normal courier prices.
When you provide an inaccurate address it can result in your parcel being miss-routed, or loaded on the incorrect delivery vehicle or transit flight. An admin charge is therefore applied to cover the cost of correcting the address and re-routing your parcel.
ParcelHero provides door to door international delivery services and our costs include the transportation of your parcel, and most customs clearance costs. However our prices do not include all customs charges, or duties and taxes applied by customs in the destination country. Customs is a government body that controls the import of all goods into their country, and their charges are outside of our control, and applied directly by the local customs authorities in the destination country.

ParcelHero provides a number of additional clearance services for business customers:
ParcelHero can pre-pay duties, taxes and other government charges on your behalf. A fee will be charged based on the advanced amount.
£15 minimum or 25% of the advanced amount, whichever is the greater.
Normally when goods are dutiable, customs will request pre-payment for the duty and tax charges. If you have credit facilities with ParcelHero, we can pay these charges on your behalf and charge you an administration fee for the service.
When we are requested to handover a shipment or paperwork to a third party broker to complete customs clearance on your receiver's behalf.
A £25 surcharge per shipment will be applied to your parcel quote.
ParcelHero charges include customs clearance, however some receiver's may wish to use their own broker to clear the goods through customs. We offer a service where we can hand the paperwork to the receiver's own broker to expedite clearance, then once this is completed they notify us and we then deliver. This is an optional, chargeable service.
This charge is applied when your shipment is held in the courier's warehouse for more than 3 days whilst waiting to be cleared through customs.
A storage charge of £5 a day is applied.
When a shipment is held for customs clearance whilst customs request additional information from the sender or receiver, the courier has to store the goods on your behalf. If customs do not receive a response from either the sender or receiver for more than 3 days, then storage charges are applied to cover the cost of additional storage.
When goods are held in customs we will always email both you and the receiver to notify you of the issue and request further information.
