good tracking information and correct customs code applied for Eu ship ...

as the title claims used other carriers and they applied wrong code to my shipment and my parcel got held at customs for 14 days which can be annoying but with parcel hero they applied the correct harmonised code to my parcel to get it through customs quickly. The tracking service was good so I good monitor progress. Very Competitive too the price was reasonable compared to the the bigger parcel companies. Will use again ;)

I knew that parcel will arrive between 5-9 days. It reached the destination within 6 days which is great. The only thing that I would change was collection. I would arrange for the collection from home as I was close to beg the person at the store to receive it in the first place. Dropping the parcel was incredibly difficult, however the service itself was great.

Our DHL freight service can accept pallets up to 300kg to the EU and 1,000 kg for worldwide destinations. Collections need to be booked 1 day in advance, so a suitable vehicle is dispatched.

Labels and paperwork

Most DHL services require you to print the shipping labels, however we do also offer 'No printer' services. For most destinations, DHL submits the customs invoices electronically, so you don’t need to print them.

Packaging your items safely for transportation is important when sending internationally. If you are sending luggage you also need to remove or protect the wheels.

Collection and delivery

We offer both DHL collection and drop off options. If the receiver is not home DHL will normally deliver to a safe place, such as a porch or neighbour. Collections and deliveries are made on working days between 9am and 6pm.

DHL Customs clearance

If the recipient is required to pay import duty, DHL charge a 'disbursement fee' for paying those charges to customs and processing payment from the receiver. The fee varies from country to country, in the UK the fee is currently £11 or 2.5% (whichever is greater) of the total duty and VAT payable.

DHL prices and surcharges

We're often asked whether our cheap prices are too good to be true. Well, the good news is all our prices include all applicable surcharges. DHL apply surcharges for items over 70kg in weight and 120 cm in length, so if your item is close to that, be very careful to enter accurate information to avoid additional charges being applied by DHL when they audit your shipment.

Prohibited items

Unlike some carriers, DHL can ship personal effects, including clothing, shoes, electronics and even passports. However, there are lots of items that DHL cannot ship, and some of them may not be so obvious, including food to the EU, power banks, and cash. Always check the prohibited list prior to shipping, to avoid the risk of your package being returned. It's also worth noting that some countries prohibit particular items from being shipped, so if you’re sending something obscure or rare, it's worth checking with the local customs authority prior to shipping.
