Labels & Paperwork
Shipping by Air
If you are shipping by air, our website will produce all the required labels and paperwork to attach to your shipment for collection.
Shipping by Road
The collecting driver will bring pre-printed labels for your shipment. If you're sending to a country outside the EU,like Bangladesh or India, you will also need customs documents. ParcelHero® will produce these for you as part of our booking process. The customs documents should be affixed to the shipment prior to collection, with an additional copy handed to the collection driver.
Customs Paperwork
When shipping to a country outside the EU, you must include a customs invoice with your shipment. The customs invoice informs the local customs authority what type of goods you're sending and why. Every item contained in your shipment must be detailed on the invoice, along with the value and the reason for export

Pallet Tracking
The majority of pallet deliveries include tracking however some freight forwarder's don't provide tracking facilities. If this is the case, we provide proof of delivery within 48 hours of delivery.
If you require door-to-door tracking, please contact us so we can source the suitable delivery solution for you (this may affect your original quote).
Safely Preparing your Pallet for Transportation
After booking your pallet online, preparing your goods for safe transportation is essential as they may be subject to environmental conditions including weather, vibrations and impact when loaded and unloaded.
Common mistakes to avoid:
01. Allowing goods to overhang the edges of the pallet
02. Not strapping the contents to the pallet securely
03. Not securely and adequately securing the items with shrinkwrap
04. Not checking the destination country's customs page to check if there are any
prohibitions for wooden pallets. For example, Australia will only accept
fumigated and heat-treated wooden pallets.
Most pallet networks assume your pallet is ‘stackable', which means other goods can be safely placed on top
of it during transit. If your goods are fragile and you want to avoid other goods being placed on it,
please contact us prior to booking.

Tips for safely preparing your goods for
pallet distribution:

1. Select a strong ‘4 way pallet' free from any damage or weakness

2. Stack your boxes in straight columns, ensuring they do not overhang the edges of the pallet

3. Use strapping and corner supports to secure the goods

4. Shrink-wrap the contents and the base to secure the items
The more protection you can give it the better - whether that's bubble wrap, extra corner supports or protection on top. Always make sure the pallet is stable and the weight is equally distributed. If the weight is unbalanced, this can cause the pallet to topple over.

Can ParcelHero® provide the
wooden pallets
and packaging material?Unfortunately at this time ParcelHero® does not sell wooden pallets or packaging materials, however you can buy pallets easily online.
Will anything be placed on top of my goods?
Our standard delivery services are for ‘stackable pallets' which means that other goods can be stacked on top of your goods. We can also provide quotes for non-stackable shipments, if you require this, please contact our logistics customer care team.
Can you load and unload my goods?
All vehicles have tail lifts. If you also require a pump truck to help move the goods to or from your entrance, please contact us prior to collection so we can arrange this for you.
What if my goods overhang the pallet?
If your goods overhang the sides, they may be charged as a double pallet. Your goods are also more susceptible to damage, so we strongly recommend that you ensure they do not overhang.

What's the maximum weight and length I can ship on a single pallet?
Our weight restriction is 1000kg in weight, and we can ship oversize pallets up to 2.4 metres in length. An additional charge is applied if they exceed 1.2 metres.
Can ParcelHero® ship large or heavy items that are not palletised?
ParcelHero® are specialists in large and heavy item deliveries and we can ship large or awkward shaped items up to 270 cm in length or heavy items up to 50 kg, even if they are not palletised.
