Once your package has been signed for delivery, we will send you an email confirmation. You can track up to 25 parcels at any time.
Large & heavy wheel courier delivery
Not all UK wheel couriers offer a complete service for large and heavy parcel deliveries. Parcelhero specializes in bulkier deliveries and with a range of partner carriers to select from, can navigate customers to the best service for their individual needs.
Whether you are sending alloy wheels to the USA, or a batch of rims to China, large and heavy items require special handling so standardly should be booked 24 hours in advance of the desired collection slot. If the item is over 30kg our partner carrier will normally expect help loading it onto the vehicle or for you to provide equipment to assist with loading. Please note: alloy wheels are standardly measured in inches while our booking tool requires measurements in centimetres.
For alloy wheel or automotive deliveries exceeding the restrictions outlined below, please contact our customer service team.
Maximum length: 270cm
Maximum weight: 1000kg: items over 50kg must be booked 24 hours in advance
Maximum length of second longest side: 150cm
Items totalling in excess of 70g will require a pallet service
Steering your alloys through international customs
When shipping alloy wheels overseas, you will need the correct customs documents to avoid any delay. Parcelhero will help with this and create all the docs you will need as part of the booking process.
It is important to understand that Customs may apply additional duty or tax to your shipment when you send alloys overseas. These charges will be applied to the recipient of the parcel. We can’t include these charges in your Parcelhero pricing as they are applied at point of entry to the destination country. To ensure there are no delays at customs, please check your items are not prohibited or restricted.
Parcelhero labelling & packaging
If you are sending a set of alloy wheels to the UK, EU or international destination, you will want to avoid any damage in transit, from superficial scratches through to denting or discolouration. Alloy wheels can be highly-priced so Parcelhero recommends spending a bit of time making sure the packaging is right. International parcels go through more handling stages than a UK delivery so it’s important your wheels are robustly packaged in accordance with our labelling and packaging criteria.

Please note that car parts are notoriously problematic to ship due to their size and weight, therefore they are listed on our non-compensation list. We are still able to offer cover, but you need to send us images of the packaging being used so we can pre-approve your packaging prior to shipping. Once this is done your shipment will be covered for loss and damage.
